Tandem Axle Lift Kit for 2014 Heartland Big Horn 37QB

Question:

I have a 2002 Silverado 2500hd. Right now our new fifth wheel is riding nose high. People keep asking if we flipped the axle. Is that common? It’s a big fifth wheel and raising the center of gravity seems a little nerve racking. 2014 heartland big horn 37QB

It's pretty common to install an over-under kit on the axles to gain more height from the trailer. Some call this flipping the axle but since axles are bowed they can't actually rotate 180 degrees. Now that said we have lift kits like the # RR23QX which can give you a lift of up to 2-1/4 inches regardless of if the axles have been "flipped" or not so either way this will give you additional lift and won't be quite as involved as an over-under kit.
