Firestone Rear Air Bag Suspension Setup For 2011 Ford F-250 Diesel
Question:
I have a 2011 f250 4 wheel drive diesel. I am looking at an f2597 air bag. I have a b+w gooseneck hitch. Is this a problem? Also it mentions rerouting a sensor with a bracket. If a has been done is this necessary? Thanks.

Luckily, the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2597 is in fact compatible with goosenecks and 5th wheel trailers, so you will have no issue installing it onto your 2011 Ford F-250 4WD. In regard to the sensor relocation bracket, you may need to use Relocation Bracket for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring for the exhaust sensor on passenger side frame if you have a short bed, but you shouldn't need it if you have a long bed. I attached a demonstration video for the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs that you can check out. (you'll need to reach out to Firestone if you need the relocation bracket)
You may also want to add a compressor so that you can adjust the air bags from the cab of your truck, otherwise you will need to hook a compressor up to the fittings at the back of the truck for any adjustment. Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Dual Function - 130 psi # F2178 will be a nice kit that will work well for you.
