For your 2003 Toyota Corolla you will need a roof top cargo carrier that works with a crossbar spread of at least 32" of which I recommend the Malone Cargo16 Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 Cubic ft - Gray # MPG902 which will give you 16 cubic feet of storage for any gear or luggage you cannot fit in your vehicle.
If you do not have a roof rack already I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System which uses 50" Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425, BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR, Fit Kit # Y06136, and Fit Kit # Y06148.
This option will give you 50" of useable crossbar space, a 125lb weight capacity, and using the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 will secure the roof rack to your vehicle.
If you would prefer an option that does not require a roof rack I recommend Rightline Gear Sport Jr. Rooftop Cargo Bag - Waterproof - 10 cu ft - 36" x 30" x 16" # RL100S50 which will mount to your bare roof and give you 10 cubic feet of cargo space.
