Recommended Bike Rack to Carry 2 Step Through Bikes

Question:

I have two bikes that are step-through designs - the only bar that connects front with back is down by the pedals. Will the Swagman XC2 rack accommodate this style of bikes? The downbar of the rack that secures the bikes would need to be at about the same height for both bikes. Also, what are the differences between this rack and the SwagmanXTC2 Tilt rack? apart from the tilt mechanism and the wheels security straps. I do intend to purchase one of these two racks from you if they will work OK for step-through models. Thanks.

The Swagman XC2 # S64650 and the Swagman XTC2 # S64671 won't be a great match up for your bikes with step through frames but I have a bike rack that was specifically designed to work with them.

The Saris Freedom Bike Rack # SA4412B is very popular among step through bike owners because of the way that you can adjust the clamps on the center mast to fit your bike. It is designed to fit 1 1/4" and 2" hitches. It is rated to carry two 60 lb bikes.
