Recommendation for a Gooseneck Hitch on 2002 Ford F350 4x4 Long Bed
Question:
2002 F350 4x4 long wheel base single wheels not a dually First does the muffler have to be relocated? i thought i saw a video and everything matched up to existing frame holes and there was not any clearance issues. I think i remember that a brake line had to be relocated?

According to B&W, on gas trucks the exhaust will not cause any clearance issues. On models with Diesel engines, in some cases the muffler might need to be moved slightly to clear the hitch. There is an bracket included with the hardware kit that is used to relocate the muffler if needed.
The installation instructions make no mention of the need to relocate a brake line, they just mention that they want to be aware of where they are to make sure you don't damage them when positioning the hitch components.
If you don't already have a 7-way connector installed in your truck bed, you can install one using part # 40167.
