What is the Difference Between Curt Hitches for 2014 Chevy Spark

Question:

What is the difference between C11334 + C11316 I have a 2014 Chevy Spark and it says both of these fit- so what is the difference? Also please define ground effects. Thanks!

The Curt # C11334 is designed to fit on the models that do not have any type of ground effects and the # C11316 is designed to fit the 2014 Chevy Spark that has ground effects and the EV models. The ground effects would simply be a trim that sticks out at the bottom of the vehicle body to create a more "racing" style look on the vehicle. I wasn't able to locate any photos of this but if you're in doubt your best bet would be to use a VIN decoder to tell you what exactly is on your 2014 Spark. These two hitches will just have small differences to accommodate those ground effects but they're generally going to closely resemble each other.
