Does Computer Need to be Flashed For Brake Controller on 2020 Chrysler Pacifica With 7-Way
Question:
I want to install a brake controller in my Pacifica. I’m having the hitch and wiring installed from the dealer. They say that they do not do brake controllers at the dealer. If I were to go through you guys would I have to have anything done with the computer or is it like a plug and play type of thing? It’s a 2020 Pacifica touring l plus.

You do not need to have your computer flashed in order to use a brake controller on your 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, and there is one brake controller which is a complete plug-and-play option, which is a wireless controller from Curt:
- Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180
The Echo will simply plug into the 7-way on the back of your '20 Pacifica with absolutely no additional wiring necessary. This means no bulky unit in your cab, saving you precious space and the hassle of having to drill under your dash to mount it. It is also the easiest brake controller on the market to use and install because it is set up simply with an app on your smartphone so you won't have to keep referring to some poorly-written manual just to use your brake controller.
This is a proportional brake controller which responds to the deceleration of your Pacifica for very smooth braking, so you get the best of both worlds; something really effective as well as simple to use. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180.
