Yes. It sounds like you're right at 12" between the two, so the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G will work well for you and keep your trailer level. 12" is the minimum height of this and even if you find that you've got a little more than 12" it can be adjusted up to give you up to 4" more.
