Per TrailSaver they recommend using the 1/8" thick Lube plate # RP83004. The larger thickness might cause the locking mechanism to not fully seat on the pin. The 10" or 12" is more dependent on the pin box on your 5th wheel.

You would need to measure the surface on the pin box to know for sure. What is recommended is width 10" or less use the 10" plate. Anything more step up to the 12". But I recommend just getting the 12" as its better to have too much versus too little in this instance.
