Proportional Brake Controller Recommendation for 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon with 4-Way
Question:
Thanks for the help reply. (Sorry for delay in my reply) Would you recommend the P2 or P3 controller? I'm interested in battery protection.

You will need to upgrade the 4-way of your 2014 Subaru Outback to a 7-way so you can install a brake controller but you can keep your current hitch since the camper weight is pretty low.
If you wanted the super easy solution the Curt Echo Wireless part # C51180 with the 7-way adapter part # ETBC7L would work great since the wiring is minimal and the brake controller is wireless and proportional.
If you preferred a more traditional brake controller the Brake EVN # TK63VR with the 7-way adapter part # ETBC7 would be the way to to.
