Can Kuat NV 2.0 be Used in 2 inch Hitch of 2015 Honda Odyssey

Question:

I have a hitch on my 2015 Honda Odyssey. It is a 2 hitch with a tongue weight rating of 350 lbs. I was looking at the Kuat NV 2.0 4-bike hitch rack. The rack weighs 82 lbs. Lets assume I put 4 bikes on it that all weigh 35 lbs each. That is a total weight of 222 lbs. Even though this is under the tongue weight limit, I am wondering if using this rack with 4 bikes could cause problems, since the end of the rack extends 44 from the hitch pin hole - due to the torque on the hitch. This is a really good question. So the Kuat NV 2.0 part # NV22G-NA22G is safe to use in the hitch of your 2015 Honda Odyssey that has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. You would most likely experience a little bit of suspension sag at the rear so what I would recommend as well is the Air Lift air bag kit that fits your vehicle part # AL60815 which will allow you ability to beef up rear suspension when carrying the heavier rack setup.
