Parts Needed To Flat-Tow a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport
Question:
Would it be possible for you to put a package together to tow a 2008 ranger sport, basplate, tow bars and lights. Do you sell the cable type braking system?

Expert Reply:
In order to flat-tow a 2008 Ford Ranger Sport you'll need a tow bar, base plates, safety cables, braking system, and wiring. I have attached for you below my recommendation on each of these components.
Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit part # 477-1
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar part # RM-522
RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables part # RM-643
Roadmaster Even Brake Portable Supplemental Braking System part # RM-9400
Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles part # HM56004
I am not very familiar with the cable type braking system but if you have an example I'd be glad to see if we have a similar option.
