I like using a J-Style Carrier # e98878 when hauling two kayaks up on the roof because of the space it saves. This one has a capacity of 150lbs so it will be plenty strong for your 85 lb kayaks. They are super easy to install and if you are having issues installing it you can get longer bolts if need be. It comes with all of the straps you need to tie your kayaks down so no need to grab anything besides these carriers! I've included a video of me using the carrier to show you how it installs and works!
