Propane Regulator & Hose For Vintage Stove
Question:
Will the Camco Low-Pressure LP Gas Regulator w/ 22 Long Hose - CAM59863 work for my purpose: I have a four burner circa 1950s vintage stove converted to propane that is run off a 10 gallon propane bottle. Is it correct that I need a single stage, low pressure regulator? I am attaching the propane bottle to a 5/8 copper line fitted with a 5/8 female flare fitting. I realize that I will need a 5/8 male flare to 3/8 male flare reducer fitting to connect to the hose supplied with CAM59863. Please advise if this is the correct product to use, or recommend alternative if it is not.

All propane appliances, including a vintage stove, require a regulator. Some stoves have a regulator built into them. If your stove does not have a regulator then this Camco # CAM59863 Regulator with hose will work perfectly for you. If your stove has a regulator then it will need to be removed as you don't want two regulators in a line.
