Recommended Suspension Enhancements for a 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 with Best Unloaded Ride Quality

Im interested in a set of Sumo Rebels for the rear of a 2019 GMC 3500HD - truck camper weighs in around 3,000 lbs plus 400 tongue wt. I run unloaded more than loaded, concerned about harsh ride unloaded, would the 3,000 be a better option than the 5,000?

The only way to get away from the harsh unloaded ride quality when dealing with suspension enhancements would be to go with an option that can be adjusted. The easiest to use option we have for a 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 would be air bags, the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs part # F2709 are what I recommend. I have attached an install video below. This allows you to put air into the system while haling for support and take air out when unloaded for ride quality.

The SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs are going to provide some level of discomfort while unloaded no matter if you go with the 3K version part # SSR-203-40-2 or 5K version part # SSR-203-47-2. The 3K version however will be softer than the 5K, so less support but better ride quality.
