First, you have to make sure that your 2007 Ford F-150 does not exceed 5,000 pounds. If so then you can use base plates # BX2169 and they are compatible with the Allure tow bar # BX7460P. If your truck does weigh over 5,000 pounds then I recommend Roadmaster base plates # 495-1A and using Blackhawk tow bar, # RM-422, with safety cables # BX88197. This is because the capacity of the Blue Ox base plates is 5,000 pounds. Depending on what is in the truck and how it is equipped you could easily go over 5,000 pounds.
If you can use the Blue Ox base plates then the Allure comes with safety cables.
Next you will need a lighting kit like # RM-154 for frequent flat towing or # RM-2120 for a magnetic kit for infrequent towing.
And finally most states require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being flat towed. One of the easiest to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR proportional system. It applies the trucks brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual to for more specific information on flat towing your truck. I have included some helpful links on flat towing for you to view.
