Brake Controller and 7-Way Recommendation for 2001 Toyota Sequoia

Question:

I have a 2001 toyota sequoia with a factory tow package. What all do I need to be able to use a trailer with electric brakes? Its a duel axle trailer, and my sequoia has the 4 pin connector. Thanks

You'll need to convert the 4-way of your 2001 Toyota Sequoia to a 7-way so you can install a brake controller and for that the kit you'd want the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to make the conversion and install a brake controller.

Then for a brake controller the Brake EVN # TK63VR is a great solution as it's proportional as it has an inertia sensor that can tell how hard you are applying the vehicle brakes and applies the trailer brakes with the same intensity.
