How to Get Multiple Keyed Alike Trailer Hitch And Coupler Locks
Question:
I have a master lock receiver and trailer lock set. Can you match the key number for a second set?

We have an option for you, though there isn't a way to get matching keys for a Master Lock # 2848DAT trailer hitch and coupler lock set as they don't have a Keyed Alike option for a second set. What you can do in order to use the same key for multiple trailer hitch locks and coupler locks is use the etrailer locks, and select the "Keyed Alike" option from the drop-down on their product pages.
This will get you all the locks keyed the same so you only have to keep track of a single key. What you can use are the following, depending on your hitch size:
- 2" Hitch: etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98880
- 1-1/4" Hitch: etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98879
- Coupler: etrailer Adjustable Trailer Coupler Latch Lock # e98883
I have added some links below to video reviews for you to take a look at as well if you'd like.
