Should you Use the Malone SeaWing or the MegaWing for a 75-LB Kayak
Question:
HI, I have a Crescent Lite Tackle 12.7, 75lb fishing kayak. I have used the Swag Man kayak cradle and liked it a lot, but see it is discontinued. Can I use the Malone Seawing with the sting ray, or should I use the mega wing?

The Malone SeaWing with Stinger Load Assist, part # MPG113MD, has a maximum capacity of 75 pounds. On the other hand, the MegaWing has a capacity of 150 pounds.
I recommend the MegaWing. The reason is that though the SeaWing can technically handle your 75-pound kayak, that's pushing the carrier to its absolute limit. It can handle it, but when you push anything to its limit, they stand a much higher chance of failing (breaking) sooner. The MegaWing is a much safer option as 75-pounds is only half of its capacity. It will carry your kayak without breaking a sweat.
I've linked to a video review of the MegaWing below.
