Bike Rack Recommendation For 60 lb E-Bikes Approved For Vehicle Being Flat Towed With 2 Inch Hitch

I need a 2” hitch mount bike carrier to carry 2 ebikes at 60 lbs each mounted on a flat towed 2006 Honda CRV. What are your recommendations.

We have two really good options for a bike rack that fits a 2 inch hitch, can carry 60 lb e-bikes, and is approved for use on a vehicle being flat towed. The best option will depend on if your e-bikes have fenders or not, as one is a wheel-mounted rack and the other is a frame-mounted rack.

The HoldUp is a wheel-mounted bike rack, and is the preferred option since it secures your bikes by the tires, which means no frame contact with your bikes. A wheel-mount rack will interfere with fenders though, so the E-Spec, which is a frame-mounted rack, is what you will want to use if your bikes do have fenders.
