Replacement Wiring Harness For Pilot Round Tube Hitch Receiver Step with LED Lights

Question:

I have the led step, I absolutely love it, I noticed recently it stopped lighting up, with further investigation I noticed that the connector witch is the 4 flat connector was melted in the middle, and sure enough I looked into the wire and there is some sort of chip in the center that connects the 3 wire led wires to the 4 flat wires and was completely destroyed, I went to a few part stores but they have no wiring harnesses to fix it, any help would be appreciated. It sounds like you might have the Round Tube Stainless Steel Trailer Hitch Receiver Step with LED Lights for 2" Trailer Hitches # CR-600LED and to replace the 4 way connector on that you can use the 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Trailer End # 18004. The 4-way connector on the Pilot Round Tube step you've got is just a standard trailer 4 way connector, as there are not special connectors for LED lights, so this will work well for you.

You'll want to cut off the destroyed end and just match up the wires color for color to complete the installation. You may want to use some heat shrink butt connectors like the # DW05745-5 to make your connections clean and secure.
