Will the Thule Passage Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2008 Toyota Camry and is an Adapter Needed

Some racks require an adapter for womens bikes. Does this one? Will it work on my 2008 Camry?

One way to look at it is that some bikes require an adapter to fit on a rack rather than the rack requiring an adapter. The Passage 2, # TH910XT would require an adapter bar like # TH982XT depending on the bike.

Any bikes that do not have a top round frame bar that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike) or that have an alternatively shaped frame that is more elliptical than round, or step-through type frames would require the use of an adapter. I have linked a video showing how the adapter works.
