Installing 7-Way to Brake Light Switch on 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe
Question:
Item # ETBC7 My car needs to run the brake switch wire back to the four pin connector because my brake wires are difficult to connect inside the cab. Is there a wire system that has that wire in it? Thanks, Jim

You're correct that splicing into the brake light switch on your 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe is very difficult because of where it's located up underneath the dash. If you take a look at the video I've linked from when we installed the Prodigy P3, part # 90195, along with our # ETBC7 kit on a 2017 Santa Fe we tapped into the brake light from the factory 4-way.
In the video skip ahead to about the 9:05 mark and you'll see the panel at the rear we get under to find the correct wire. This should help you get a brake controller installed on your Santa Fe.
