Do Tow Hooks have to be Removed on a 2006 Jeep Commander to Install a Front Mount Trailer Hitch

By installing the front receiver hitch does it eliminate the front tow Hooks? 2006 Jeep Commander

According to the installation instructions for the Curt front mount hitch # C31056 which I have linked for you, the tow hooks will be removed and not be reinstalled in order to install the hitch. It is not exactly the same but if you wanted a tow hook you could use # TR63044 and put it in the front mount hitch.
