Locking 2 Kayaks to a Roof Rack on a 2004 Toyota Tundra
Question:
What is the best way to secure 2 kayaks on a 2004 Toyota Tundra overnight at a hotel? Our kayaks are 14foot and 16foot open water kayaks so bringing them with us in the room really isnt an option

To lock the kayaks to the vehicle I recommend a cable lock like # e98891, that you can put through something on the kayaks and then lock it to the trailer hitch safety chain loops.
Another option is the Thule Multipurpose Locking Straps, # TH832. I have included a link to a video review of these straps for you to view.
Make sure that you attach the straps or cable to something that cannot be removed itself, like the hitch for example.
