Is There a 1-1/4 Hitch for a 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Purchasing a 2021 Subaru Outback XT next week. We are trading in a 2015 Subaru Premium, that has had a 1 1/4 hitch on it from day one for our Thule bike rack. Do you offer a 1 1/4 hitch for the 2021 Outback? I only saw 2 hitches on the website.

I have a solution for you, but there is not a hitch with a 1-1/4" receiver for the 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon currently available. However you can use a 2" hitch like the etrailer # e25TR and then use a reducer sleeve like the Brophy Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02 for carrying your bike rack. This will allow you to carry your Thule bike rack with the 1-1/4" shank and also give you a great solution in the event that you need to tow a trailer, since a 2" receiver is better suited for that.
I've linked our review video of the Brophy reducer, as well as an installation video of the Curt hitch, plus our entire selection of wiring harnesses and ball mount kits in case you also need to tow a trailer at some point.
