Yes. The Extang Xceed Hard Tonneau Cover # EX85350 has a release mechanism that is only accessible when the tailgate is open, so it does provide great security for the items in your truck bed. As with any tonneau cover you will want to keep snow from building up on the cover in large amounts, but it's going to hold up just fine to the elements and comes with a 3 year warranty.
