Solution for Supplemental Braking System of Towed Vehicle that Overrides Tow Bar Lighting

Question:

I have installed RM-9160 air brake, RM-751471 tow brake LED, RM-15267 Diode 7-wire to 6-wire kit. also RM-88307, DM9511012 and DM9519340. My Trailhawk brake light is overriding the turn signal when tested behind my 2010 Tiffin Phaeton? 1. Can I used a 6 Diode configuration? 2. Add a toggle switch at my brake pedal air bracket to turn off the OEM brake switch when brake actuator cylinder is in use? 3. Use a modified Brake-Lite Relay P/N 80400? See attached picture of wiring ... Note: followed David Fs video under Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kitinch for a 2020 Trailhawk.

The solution you need is the Roadmaster brake lite relay part # RM-88400 which was designed for the situation you described where the brakes are overriding the turn signals of the tow bar lighting due to the braking setup.
