Prostrobe Hercules LED Amber Dash Light Won't Stick to Windshield

Question:

I am the District Manager of the Clinton County Conservation District in Mill Hall, PA. Several weeks ago, we purchased the Prostrobe Hercules LED Amber Dash Light Item # PRS70756 . We had severe winter weather yesterday an put the light to use for the first time. It will not stay affixed to the window. The suction cup has a level you move to tighten and affix the suction cup. Tried it. Stays stuck for 3 or 4 minutes and then falls off the window. I thought perhaps the lack of suction was due to the window being cold. Thirty minutes later with a well-heated car and window, I tried again. the unit fell off the window again in just 2 or 3 minutes. I thought perhaps the window had a film on it, so I cleaned it and tried again. No luck. I tried more than a dozen times. The Hercules Prostrobe simply will not stay stuck to the window for more than a few minutes before it suddenly falls off. Please help.

The Prostrobe Hercules LED Amber Dash Light Item # PRS70756 works best when the windshield and suction cup are the same temperature, which might be difficult in very cold weather like you've had. You also may want to get the suction cup a little bit wet before trying to affix this to your windshield, which will help with creating better suction.

If you've tried these steps, please let me know and I can give you a few other things to try.
