Does Buyers Products Air Compensated Pintle Hook Hold Lunette Ring with Air Mechanism

Question:

I am looking to install this on the back of a tug that pulls frozen product transport trailer and we have had issue with the pintle hooks releasing during transport. We currently us a standard pintle hitch with a rope that the operator has to pull to latch and unlatch every time they couple to a new set of trailers. The issue is that they cant see the hitch so unless they get out and walk back they dont know if the hitch is completely closed. This is not sustainable so I have been doing some research and I am looking at 337PH55AC to ensure a positive couple. I think this is a good option but I cant tell if this hitch has an air controlled top latch or just the locking ram? If this doesnt the air controlled top latch, do you have a hitch that does? Thanks.

The air portion of the Buyers Products 50 Ton 10-Hole Air Compensated Pintle Hook with Air Chamber and Plunger # 337PH55AC provides cushioning as well as holds the lunette ring into the pintle hook so it does work as a mechanism to hold the trailer in place. It does not hold the upper portion of the pintle down but the cushioned portion has a lip around the ring that holds it in place.
