Is Drilling Into Roof Required for Solar Panels With Roof Rack
Question:
What do you recommend for a roof Rack that solar panels can be attached to for a 2019 Winnebago MicroMinnie 1808FBS travel trailer? There is a small rain gutter on the Micro Minnie to which I may be able to attach rack brackets. I do not want to drill through or puncture the TPO thermoplastic polyolefin roof.

I do have options for you but you will either be drilling into the roof to attach the roof rack or drilling into the roof to attach the solar panels. There are no drill free options for the roof but if the panels are installed properly there will be no leaks to worry about. It's not like you're drilling all the way through anyway. The only way around this is with portable solar panels which you would setup outside the trailer each time. I am not sure how much solar you need but for a portable system I recommend the Go Power Portable Solar System part # 34282610 and for a roof mount solar system I recommend the Go Power Solar Flex Charging System part # 34272628.
I have attached full lists for each option below.
