We do not happen to have done a video on the installation of this particular base rail kit on your specific year/make/model vehicle. However, I have attached the installation instructions.

This 10-bolt base rail kit requires the following tools: 3/4 inch and 15/16 inch wrenches; 1/8 and 9/16 inch drill bits; a center punch, measuring tape and 3/8 Allen head socket. If you have a plastic bed liner in your Sierra you will need to make cuts to remove sections to allow metal-to-metal contact between the bed and rails, but spray-on liners are fine.

An alternate base rail kit for your Sierra, for which we do have several installation videos, is the Reese Fifth Wheel Kit # RP50064-58. This kit also includes custom brackets and does not require drilling into the vehicle frame (only through the bed). Note this kit is not compatible with Reese Elite (Signature) series or Valley UBS fifth wheel hitches. The bolts that attach the bed rails will sit directly above the frame member making them a bit more difficult to access during installation.

The basic difference between these two kits is that on the RP56007-53 the flanges on the frame brackets face outward rather than toward the center of the bed as on the RP50064-58. This means that the bed rails for the RP56007-53 need to be longer to mate with the frame brackets.
