Tonneau Cover Recommendation for 2017 GMC Sierra 1500

Question:

Looking at tonneau covers. My inside truck bed measurement is 69. Is that considered a 5 1/2 bed?

Yes, a 69 inch bed is considered a 5-1/2 foot bed for your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500, just for the purposes of our fit guide. A lot of people don't have the exact length in inches for their truck bed, so we try to make it easier to find a fit for tonneau covers by saying 5-1/2 feet (or 6-1/2 feet or 8 feet).

For a tonneau cover that does fit your 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 69 inch (5-1/2 foot) bed, the option I highly recommend is the PowertraxONE MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT70461.

The Powertrax is the best option for your GMC for a number of reasons, and chief among them is it is the ultimate in convenience, allowing you to open and close it with the use of a key fob. This means you just hit a button to either open or close the cover, which is perfect for someone who often needs quick and simple access to their truck bed.

The PowertraxONE is also lockable (in any position along the bed) and installs easily with clamps, so you aren't going to have to drill or otherwise modify your truck bed. This tonneau sits just slightly above your GMC's bed rails, which means it is going to ensure your Sierra keeps it's clean, streamlined look. It is also remarkably durable, and designed to work without fail in temperatures from - 50 degrees to 200 degrees (Fahrenheit). The cover has a lifetime warranty as well, so it'll be the only cover you ever need for your truck.

I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the PowertraxONE MX Hard Tonneau Cover # RT70461.
