Parts Required for Installation of Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller
Question:
I am interested in Curt 51180 trailer brake controller for my 2020 Tacoma. My truck has a factory OEM 7 pin cannon bumper plug. Is that all I need to get this brake controller to work? Does the other end 4 pin connector under dash to left of steering wheel need to be hooked up somehow, or is it simply plug to bumper plug and go with bluetooth setup on my iphone?

The Curt Echo # C51180 is a plug and play brake controller, so you've already got everything you need on your 2020 Toyota Tacoma to make it work; all you need is a smart phone running Android 4.4 or newer, or iOS 8.0 or newer. You won't need to install anything inside the vehicle, which is why this is such a popular choice for a brake controller.
