Can Item # AA1048 Grill Guard Be Installed With Item # C31056 Front Hitch On A 2006 Jeep Commander

I own a 2006 Jeep Commander and am wondering if the Curt 31056 Front 2 inch receiver will work with the Aries Brush Guard you offer, item # AA1048. I want to be able to use a receiver mounted winch for recovery, so I can move front to rear when needed. TIA

Your 2006 Jeep Commander with the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C31056 is not compatible to work with the Aries Grille Guard Item # AA1048. Even though both items mount in different locations the cross tube of the hitch and the upright plates on the guard are in the same location. On the guard there is also a lower cross tube that will interfere with the cross tube on the hitch. If you are wanting to be able to move a winch to the front of the vehicle I recommend going with the hitch.
