Taillight Converter For Towing Trailer with Separate Turn Signals and Brake Lamps

Question:

Hello, I am asking for a hint, which module will be the best to adapt the rear lights in my Ford F150 XLT from 1997 to European requirements I live in Poland. Separation of the signal of the turn signal from the stop lights and position lights - there is a 4-pin output at the rear for connecting the trailer lights. Thank you in advance for your help, best regards Piotr Stasilo Ilza Poland

Your truck uses what we refer to as a combined taillight system which uses a single bulb for the turn signal and brake lamp. In order to separate out the turn signals, you'd need a vehicle to vehicle taillight converter like part # 118158. I'd recommend installing the converter inline on the taillight circuits on the trailer.

I've linked to a product description video that helps explain how the converter works.
