To install the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 on your 2017 Ford Transit T350 you will first need a 4-way trailer connector.
I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56327 which is a plug and play installation as you can see in the included video.
With a 4-way connector installed you can now install the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation # ETBC7L which was specifically designed to work with wireless trailer brake controllers like the Echo # C51180.
In addition the Curt Echo # C51180 will work on any vehicle with a functioning 7-way connector, meaning you can easily swap it to a different vehicle if needed without any additional parts.
I included installation videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
