What Lights Will Be Powered When Installing Tow Bar Wiring On 2020 Chevrolet Sonic

Flat towing a 2020 Chevy Sonic. When hooking up the lights from the RV, the turn signal lights are the only ones lighting up. Seem to be used for both the turn signals and the braking. Is this correct?

The Roadmaster Smart Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Wiring Kit for Variable Voltage Incandescent Tail Lights # RM26FR you were looking at for your 2020 Chevrolet Sonic will power the tail lights when plugged in to your RV.

You should have turn signals, brake lights, and tail lights that come on when you turn on the running lights of your RV.

These functions will only happen on the tail lights, and will not light up the front turn signals.

If you are missing any of these functions I recommend double checking that you have all of the wiring connections correct, and that the cord running from your RV to your Sonic is completely plugged in with no debris in either connector.
