Does Curt Rambler Tow Bar Fit Blue Ox Base Plates on 2021 Ford Ranger

I know I asked this before but I can’t find your response. I have a Curt Rambler tow-bar year and a half old we are buying a 2021 Ford Ranger for a tow behind. Will the Blue Ox Ford Ranger base plate work with the Rambler tow bar? If so what model number? Motorhome is a Thor Magnitude 2021. Thanks Wayne

Happy to help, and the answer to your question is yes, Blue Ox base plates for your 2021 Ford Ranger are absolutely compatible with the Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar for Curt and Blue Ox Base Plates # C26FR.
The correct Blue Ox base plates for a 2021 Ford Ranger are the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BLU77XR.
You will also need a couple of other parts, including tow bar wiring, and the system I really like because it prevents any type of electrical feedback to protect your Ranger's electrical system is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267.
Then for a supplemental braking system that is a one-time install that is going to give you smooth braking proportional to that of your motorhome I recommend the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700.
To complete your setup to ensure your Ranger's turn signal lights flash in tandem with your RV's lights you will just need the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400.
