Using SpeedLink Mounting Assembly On Thule Flat Top Roof Ski & Snowboard Rack
Question:
I know you already answered this question but, Ive the old Thule 724 flat top carrier, got some cheap bars from ebay 2inch wide and 1inch high, you said you recommended the other adapter thats just clamps part #753 3998, but I need something more secure than just clamps, will this speedlink fit the 724s or not at all?

Expert Reply:
The SpeedLink Mounting System # 7521241001 is not intended to be used for Thule Cargo Boxes. I recommend using the intended mounting hardware # 7533998 for your Thule Flat Top Rooftop Ski & Snowboard Rack. I cannot guarantee that the SpeedLink System will work.
