How To Use A 4 Pin Connector With 5 Pin Connector
Question:
I have a five conductor light hook up for my trailer. Is there a four pin adapter that will allow me to use the Bully Black Bull LED Hitch-Mounted Step for 1-1/4 and 2 Hitches Item # BBS-1104L on my vehicle? Thanks

The Bully Black Bull LED Hitch-Mounted Step # BBS-1104L uses a 4 pin flat connector. If your 5 pin connector on your 2016 Lexus RX 350 is flat, then the harness on the LED step will actually work just fine and you will not need an adapter. The last pin on the flat 5 pin connector is typically used for the reverse light circuit from the vehicle and would then connect to the brake actuator on the trailer for the reverse lockout function. Needless to say, you will not need that fifth pin to use this LED step. If your 5 pin connector on your Lexus is actually round, which is not common, then you could use Mighty Cord Trailer Connector Adapter # A10-7264VP to convert it to 4 way flat.
