Recommended Leaf Spring Suspension Kit For 3" 7,000lb Trailer

I am writing in regards to the Roadmaster Comfort Ride suspension system RM-2460-2570. Question 1: What is the correct number of leaves in the spring bundles? In the specifications, it is stated that the number is 5. But, in the specifications for the heavier duty RM-2470-2580 it is stated that the number of leaves is 4. This seems to be reversed from what it should be. I have a Redwood 5th wheel with 7K axles that are 3 inch diameter. Question 2: Can the heavier duty RM-2470-2580 be used on 7K axles? Both the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2570 and Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2470-2580 technically have 5 leaves. For your Redwood 5th Wheel, you will want to use Roadmaster # RM-2460-2570. This is specifically made for 7K axles with a diameter of 3" so it will work well with your setup. The Roadmaster # RM-2470-2580 will NOT work because it is made for axles with a diameter of 3-1/2".
