Recommended Bike Rack Compatible With Thule Tram Ski And Snowboard Carrier Adapter

Question:

I want to buy a hitch rack that can be used for skis, snowboards and also bikes. I saw the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks which is nice but its just an adapter. I need the hitch mounted bike rack. Can you recommend what I need to get to go along with the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter Thanks

Absolutely!

I recommend going with the Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway # TH934XTR which is one of the most popular bike racks we offer due to it being a very cost effective option for the quality and features it has. The most notable features are the HoldFast Anti Sway Arms that contact your bikes frames in 3 points to keep them from moving while going down the road, and tilting mast that allows the rack to tilt down allowing you to better access the rear cargo area of your vehicle when needed.

The # TH934XTR will accommodate 4 bikes weighing 35lbs or less, but keep in mind if you have a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver you will be limited to carrying 2 bikes.

Adding the Thule Tram Ski and Snowboard Carrier Adapter for Hitch-Mounted Bike Racks # TH9033 you were looking at will allow you to carry 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards, or if you have a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver you will be able to carry 4 pairs of skis or 2 snowboards.

To protect your investment I recommend the Thule Cable Lock w/ One Key System Lock # TH538XT which will allow you to secure the Tram to the bike rack to deter theft.

If your vehicle does not already have a trailer hitch receiver just let me know the Year/Make/Model and I would be happy to recommend the best trailer hitch receiver for your application.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
