Recommended Tire To Replace Worn 16.5x6.5-8 Tires On Older Pop Up Camper
Question:
Hello. I have been given a very old pop up camper. I want to replace all the tires 3. GVW is 1500 but the camper will probably be around 1000 tops. The size on the side of the tire is 16.5 x 6.5 - 8. 4 lugs. This camper will taken on the interstate so 70 MPH is desired. Do you have a tire that fits these specs? Thanks

To replace your 16.5x6.5-8 tires you will need the Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tire - 165/65-8 - Load Range C # AM1HP22 which will support up to 800lbs each, but only has a speed rating of 65 MPH.
The # AM1HP22 is currently the only tire we have that will directly replace your current tires, so I recommend just slowing down slightly when you are on the interstate.
I included a video Loadstart # AM1HP22 for you to take a look at.
