Since you have a pair of 6 volt batteries wired in series, you'll need a portable solar system with a solar controller, the Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller - 90 Watt Solar Panel # 34282729.
This will allow you to easily extend the life of your batteries so they will last much longer; this system will both charge and maintain your batteries, and is set up to prevent overcharging. The controller will also give you information about your batteries including their voltage, and even has a USB port to charge things like your phone if need be.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Go Power Portable Solar System with Digital Solar Controller - 90 Watt Solar Panel # 34282729.
