What is the Expected Battery Life for the Global Link Ultra E Pro Electronic Lock

Question:

I went ahead and purchased the Global Link Ultra E Pro Lock from etrailer . I received and installed and am impressed so far. I changed the User code from factory to one I made, The question I have is : If I forget what the user code I changed it to is there a way to reset the code and enter a new code or factory code it came with?

The Global Link Ultra E Pro Electronic Lock for Travel Trailer, part # 295-000183, comes with a C123 lithium battery.

These batteries (which you can get replacements for very easily) have a lifecycle of 3 to 5 years since lithium lasts much longer. There is a sensor on the unit that will flash red to alert you when the battery is getting low.

I've linked to a video review of this lock for your consideration.

I spoke with Global Link about this. The factory code will always work. As long as you have the factory code, you can change your user code as many times as you like. Meaning, if you forget the code you selected, you can enter the factory code and go through the same steps to enter a new one.
