Trunk mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2013 Cadillac SRX

There are trunk mount bike racks listed as a fit for the 2013 Cadillac SRX, see link. However, there is one thing that you will need to look at first. If the vehicle has the plastic trim piece (spoiler) at the top that would interfere with the hooks or cables then you cannot use a trunk mount bike rack. That spoiler is not rated to support the weight of a rack.

If you determine you can use a trunk mount bike rack then I recommend going with the Thule OutWay, # TH56BV. I actually own this rack myself and it is the easiest bike rack I have ever used. The retractable cables are easier to use than straps like other racks have and it is easier to get them secure. The anti-sway cradles and cable lock at the last bike position have also been very useful features.

For this or any bike rack if you have bikes with top frame tubes that do not go straight across I recommend using the adapter bar, # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry the bikes more level and provide better ground clearance. I also use a couple of these on my wife's bike and on my sons bike with an elliptical shaped frame.
