Are There Lift Brackets Available for a Roof Box To Mount Inside Factory Rails on 2004 Jeep Liberty

Question:

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty Renegade which has the plastic molding around the factory roof rack. The molding comes up a inch or two around the crossbars so they appear sunken. Are their lift extenders that can be used to clear the plastic molding with a roof box?

I'm not aware of there being a specific part available for this and most roof rack crossbars like this will have a slight upward bow to them. Either way, I don't think this is going to affect your ability to mount a box like the Thule Force XT Sport # TH6356B since they'll sit inside the side rails you're referring to. This box is only 24-3/4" wide, so it shouldn't be impeded, but there are some other boxes that are more narrow that will also fit on your factory crossbars.

If a 24-3/4" wide box is too wide, just let me know how long those bars are (the distance between the side rails) and I can recommend a more appropriate solution for you.
