Recommended Roof Rack for Carrying Kayaks on 2017 Volkswagen Golf

We bought Yakima Jlow Kayak rack which we use on our Mazda rx5 with stock roof rack. We would like to mount them in our 2017 VW Golf. What roof rack do you offer that would accommodate the kayak rack. Standard Yakima Rack? Please advise

I'd be happy to recommend a roof rack for your 2017 Golf. I'd recommend using a rack that uses the aero style crossbars, as the round or square 'standard' roof racks are REALLY noisy.
The exact parts you need will depend on how the roof is currently equipped. If it's a completely bare roof, I'd recommend a Yakima CoreBar rack, which would assemble from the following parts:
• Yakima 50 inch CoreBar crossbars, part # Y00421
• Yakima BaseLine Towers, part # Y28TR
• Clip Kit, part # Y06123
• Clip Kit, part # Y06125
If your roof has the side rails that run from front to back along the edge of the roof, I'd still recommend the Yakima CoreBar rack, but the exact parts would be different:
• Yakima 50 inch CoreBar crossbars, part # Y00421 (as mentioned above)
• Yakima TimberLine Towers, part # Y33TR
The crossbars used on both racks are compatible with a Yakima # Y04073 JayLow kayak carrier. I've linked to some demonstration videos featuring the roof racks mentioned above.
