Determining Correct Transmission Cooler For 2017 Ford Expedition EL With 3.5L EcoBoost

I am looking at doing a transmission cooler for my wife’s 2017 Ford Expedition EL. It has the 3.5 twin turbo. I can’t seem to find any videos or kits on your site or YouTube. Do you have one that is vehicle specific or is a universal the way to go? Do you have an install video or instructions? Thanks

Transmission coolers in general are not made vehicle specific, and even though there is not a cooler listed as a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford Expedition EL with the 3.5L EcoBoost, that does not mean you can't install one.

Instead you will simply need to make sure that the cooler you choose fits the space available in front of the radiator of your vehicle.

An option like the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets # D13503 would be a great choice as long as you have enough room for it to fit. The overall dimensions of the # D13503 are 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep.

While we do not have an installation video of a transmission cooler being installed on an Expedition like yours, I included a video of the # D13503 being installed on a different vehicle to give you an idea of what the install will be like.
